Good Cause is designed around verifying the people and payment destinations involved in fundraising.
Who may be checked
Campaign owners, beneficiaries, payees, organisations and other associated persons where appropriate.
What we may request
Government-issued identification, proof of address, bank-account evidence, beneficiary consent, organisation records and supporting campaign evidence.
When verification happens
Campaign review begins before publication. Required payee and payment-destination checks must be completed before payout.
Why checks matter
Verification supports fraud prevention, payment-provider requirements, sanctions screening and any legal obligations that apply to the platform.
