Refund and reversal approach
Donations are payments made for a stated fundraising purpose and are not ordinary retail purchases.
Refund requests
Good Cause may consider refund requests where a payment was made in error, was unauthorised, involved a material campaign issue or where another valid basis exists.
Processing fees
Payment-provider charges may not always be recoverable. The final treatment will follow the approved payment-provider rules.
Campaign failure or suspension
Where a campaign is suspended or cannot proceed, Good Cause may determine an appropriate refund or payment treatment based on the circumstances and provider capabilities.
Chargebacks
Disputes and chargebacks can reduce funds otherwise payable to a campaign and may delay payouts.
